In 1990, Chris assumed news anchor responsibilities at CFRN Television in Edmonton. This CTV affiliate still boasts a team of award-winning journalists and consistently earns number one viewer ratings in and around the Alberta capital. Chris's ten years at CTV Edmonton included three as co-producer and host of the popular weekly news magazine "Alberta Business."
